The Lethbridge 10k is an annual 10k running race, organised by volunteers from the Friends Of Lethbridge Primary School in order to raise money for the school.
The race takes place on a Wednesday evening in early June each year, starting and finishing in Old Town, Swindon. It is run on a mixture of footpaths, trails and roads through the south Swindon countryside - the majority of the race is on the old Railway Line path that runs from Old Town towards West Swindon.
We are grateful for the generous support of a number of local businesses including: Richard James Estate Agents, South West Mortgages, GLL Leisure, Francis George Solicitors, Run Swindon, Deacons Jewellers, Anytime Fitness and Intel.
All finishers will receive a technical T-shirt and a medal.
Prizes will be awarded to the following categories:
- First three men and women
- First three men 40-49 and women 35-44
- First man 50+ and woman 45+
- First man 60+ and woman 55+
- First three male and female teams (first 3 team members count)
Also numerous spot prizes.
Some endorsements from previous years:
"I would definitely do this again. It was very well organized and chip timed. Marshalls were brilliant as were the other volunteers. Great TShirt at the end. The race itself is mostly flat with only a few minor inclines and the scenery is nice.A lovely downhill straight to the finish aswell! I will be back next year."
"Excellent route chip timing this year nice tech t shirt see you next year"
" Very Well Organised. Well done to the marshals and the little helpers! "
"As in previous years, a well-organised race; plenty of marshals and support on the way. The start on the sports field was great and allowed people to "spread out" a bit."
